A CLEAN home is a happy home.
It’s hard to feel good or stay focused in a house where things are thrown around in disarray.
A mom and home organization expert named Corinne Burghardt, who goes by on TikTok, revealed how she keeps her space in tip top shape.
“One thing I recommend to any new homemaker that just makes sense is: Resetting your kitchen and putting it to bed.
“You might think I’m crazy when I say put your kitchen to bed, but it is the one thing that saved my routine every single day and it is just so much better for my family in the morning.”
What does she mean exactly when she says she puts it to bed?
She loads and runs the dishwasher, scrubs down the sink, stores leftovers, disinfects the stove and the countertops, wipes down the table, reorganizes the shelves, and vacuums the floors.
This way, she won’t wake up to a kitchen disaster that will cause immediate stress.
“We’re able to start fresh, my mental health is better, my kitchen is cleaner, my house is tidier, and it just helps tremendously.”
By doing all these chores before bed, you can sleep at night knowing you got a bulk of the home cleaning behind you.
